We enjoyed our day at Arches and we left Moab before getting a chance to see Canyonlands. The State Park at Green River was verdant since they water the sites regularly with river water. The real problem was the party into the wee hours at the group site next to ours AND the trains that rolled through at 1 am and 6 am.
With the site all packed, breakfast waited for us at the diner before heading off to Capital Reef NP. Once there, we decided to drive into “The Wash” and hike The Cassidy Arch Trail for a good workout and some spectacular views.
Next was a drive to the Bryce View Inn. Settling into a rustic room and eating a Ruby’s Buffet (I think Ruby has a monopoly on the town) gave us a place where we would be just a few miles from Bryce Canyon NP’s first-come-first-served North Campground.
