We cruised through a part of the Rhine lined with many castles and villages for much of the morning.
This next photo was take through my binoculars!
In the afternoon, the bus took us high up the hill to Marksburg Castle.
The tour guide was a delightful Frau with a cute giggle.
The castle had many defensive features, narrow passages, many stairs and few comforts.
There was a large rooms where meals were prepared and eaten.
The torture chamber was a delight to our guide.
Onto the bus again to Koblenz where we walked around town, and stopped in a cafe before boarding the Aegir.
